Agora Merit

Evidence-first role analysis

Define the role before you define the candidate.

Agora Merit analyzes the responsibilities of a role for operating risk, then helps people make explicit, traceable decisions about ownership, handoffs, outcomes, and boundaries.

What Agora Merit is: a role analysis and Role Alignment Audit. It is not a resume transformer and it is not a generic job-description text generator.

Source-line traceability

Findings stay tied to the responsibility lines that produced them, so users can see what language created the risk instead of receiving an unexplained score or rewrite.

Operating-risk analysis

Agora Merit looks for practical role-design problems such as unclear ownership, ambiguous handoffs, missing outcomes, and undefined boundaries before they become hiring or execution problems.

Evidence-gated comparisons

Comparable-role evidence is shown only when at least two occupationally compatible database examples clear the system's relevance gate. Weak matches are withheld rather than presented as evidence.

Human-controlled decisions

Recommendations do not silently rewrite the role. Users can approve, reject, or provide a structured custom decision, and the live document changes only after an explicit decision.

Evidence-bounded recommendations

The system is designed to constrain recommendations to supported role evidence and reject unsupported authority, departments, laws, tools, numbers, metrics, or cadences.

Controlled deliverables

The audit can produce an Alignment Scorecard, an updated job description, explicit boundaries, and remaining open operational risks rather than only generating prose.

How the Role Alignment Audit works

1. Start with responsibilities.
Paste a Responsibilities or Duties section, or upload a supported job-description file.
2. Confirm the source.
Users confirm the extracted responsibilities before analysis, preserving a clear connection to the original role language.
3. Review role risk.
The free assessment groups findings by operational risk and identifies affected source lines and business consequences.
4. Resolve findings deliberately.
The workbench supports manual decisions, structured custom decisions, and evidence-bounded recommendations while keeping the live responsibilities and boundaries visible.
5. Export a controlled role document.
The result is a role definition with explicit decisions and unresolved risks visible, rather than a black-box rewrite.

Why this is different from generic AI job-description writing

Generative writing tools can produce plausible language. Agora Merit is built around a different task: auditing the structure of a role and keeping the analysis connected to source responsibilities, comparable-role evidence, explicit boundaries, and human approval. The goal is not simply better-sounding text; it is a more auditable definition of the work.

Who it is built for

Agora Merit is designed for people responsible for defining work before or during hiring, including founders, operations leaders, and fractional HR consultants.
